Friendsgiving Games: 9 Ideas Your Friends Will Actually Play
Game Night Paper Co. · 2026-10-19

Friendsgiving is relaxed on purpose. People bring a dish, nobody has a seating chart, and the evening can drift. A few games give the night some shape without making it feel like a work retreat. These nine Friendsgiving games are clean, quick to explain, and work for groups of about 6 to 20.
1. Party-moment bingo (runs all night)
Hand out bingo cards as people arrive. Instead of called numbers, the squares are things that happen at the party: someone brings a store-bought pie, a timer goes off, a toast is made. Guests mark squares as they see them. The first to five in a row has to tell the story behind each square, then gets first pick of dessert.
2. Friendsgiving feud
Two teams, one host, and prompts made for friend groups: "Name a dish someone always brings store-bought." Play to three rounds and double the points in the last one.
3. Hot takes: this or that
Pass around a sheet of food debates (stuffing or mac & cheese, homemade or store-bought, dessert first or dessert last). Then go around the room and defend your weirdest pick.
4. Never have I ever (dinner-party edition)
Everyone holds up five fingers. Read a card such as "Never have I ever eaten pie for breakfast." If you have, put a finger down. Keep the cards light and food-related and it stays fun for everyone.
5. Who's most likely to…
"…host next year's Friendsgiving?" Everyone points on three. It's a sneaky way to get someone to commit to hosting.
6. Toast roulette
Pass a die around the table. Each number is a kind of toast: to a friend at the table, your best memory of the year, a hope for next year. Any drink works, and the rule is under one minute per toast.
7. Food & feast trivia
Questions for the foodies: What is soaking a turkey in salt water called? (Brining.) What's a turkey stuffed inside a duck stuffed inside a chicken? (A turducken.)
8. Leftover swap
Everyone labels their leftover containers. Roll a die to decide the order, and each person picks a container to take home. You can also steal someone else's pick.
9. Friendsgiving superlatives
Finish with printable awards like Master Chef, Dish Duty Hero, Food Coma Champion and Plus-One MVP. Hand them out with as much ceremony as you can manage.
